Congratulations to the Steckel Elementary team for placing first at the PA Invention Convention! Their solar-powered medical invention demonstrated incredible problem-solving and adaptability. We are proud to see these young innovators move on to the state level!

We are thrilled to announce that Steckel Elementary’s Emily Lepore has received a 2025 STEAM Award from the Da Vinci Science Center! This honor recognizes her outstanding leadership and innovative commitment to STEM education.

Space exploration came to life in the classroom! Students wrapped up their solar system unit by modeling planetary orbits in a transformed "galaxy" room, completing the day with themed artwork and stories.

Created through a community-wide effort, the Profile of a Zephyr establishes ten core traits for our students. By weaving these into our K-12 curriculum, we are equipping graduates with the skills needed to succeed in college, careers, and life.
